Been using this for 15 years, and I would normally give five stars, but downloading stock info from TD Ameritrade, all come up during the accuracy check as needing to be fixed. That is a game changer for me. If that continues I will need to find new tax software. Also, indirect and direct business expense came up as a red flag, because the software put it in the wrong place. With a little time I was able to figure out where the proper place for it to go on the form was, but I shouldn't have to do that

This was my first time trying HRB software. I was really hopeful and wanted it to be a good experience. Sadly, it was a big disappointment.
Next year I'm going back to Turbo Tax.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TOOK A 2 HR PHONE CALL WITH HR SUPPORT TO GET THIS DOWNLOAD WORKING THE WAY IT SHOULD; WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO GO STEP BY STEP TO DO MY RETURN; TAKE ME TO COULD NOT FIND SELF EMPLOYED EITHER..THE GAL IN SUPPORT DID GET IT WORKING THE WAY IT SHOULD & NEVER DISCLOSED WHAT CAUSED THE ISSUE...SO AFTER WASTING A LOT OF TIME TRYING TO DO MY RETURN BEFORE I CALLED; I WAS ABLE TO DO MY RETURN & FILED IT....VERY DISAPPOINTING PROCESS; AS I'D NEVER HAD ISSUES LIKE THIS BEFORE USNING HR TAX PROGRAMS OTHER YEARS...

H&R Block's Premium 2020 software continues to serve its purpose. I am giving it 4 stars of 5 not because of the product's functionality. It works well. I wish the User Interface (UI) was redesigned though because it hasn't changed since I first used this product (previously known as TaxCut and delivered through Unboxed Software) circa 1998. Also names of different product bundles are confusing: every year I have to review how Premium is different from step up/down to make sure I will be getting all forms with the license.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

This is an excellent software package that makes completing all forms, super easy. Should you have any questions after reviewing the many guidance tips, contact information is listed throughout the software. I've been using this software for many years for both personal and business tax preparation.

Good Tax application you can prepare and file your tax with any status from convenient of your home. The help section can be improved by provide real answer rather than link to IRS publication
