Easy to use

I have been using this software to do taxes for several years, and it seems it gets easier every year.

I have used other products in the past, but now for the last five years I've used H&R block and am never disappointed. They make it simple to use, keep adding features to read documents (import), and give straightforward explanations. Definitely make doing my taxes an easy thing to do.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have never run a terrible software as this years

I have been H&R Blocks Customer more then 10 years. Never, had problem as this years.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problem for ME!

Problem for ME!
During the “interview”. On “2020 Schedule HC”, in 4f, after entering “Medicare”, the ID and Subscriber # boxes are Gray (not allowing any entries.).
THEN during the “Accuracy Review” it says I need to enter that information!
I entered the Subscriber # BUT nowhere could I find an “ID” number for Medicare!
I looked at my 2019 return and that area is BLANK and was filed electronically!
Now the 2020 Accuracy Review says since I cannot clear that issue, I can not file the state electronically and must send in a paper return. So I went back and made the required adjustments and filed my Federal electronically. NOW the program will not let me go on to filing my State return until the Federal is accepted!! I have as of now, waited 23 hours and am still waiting so I can go on to file my State.

Good - but...

I've used H&RB for years. Just an annoying caution this year 2020. Just before E-Filing I did the recommended print outs for my records. Fed was OK, but on the Cal State it printed out 4 PAGES 540 forms that said do DRAFT FORM - DO NOT FILE. I had been updating regularly. Why did it let me print these worthless forms - wasting paper and ink ??!!

Cons: Time consuming
