I bought this for 2019 because I had bad experiences the last two years with Turbo Tax. Last year Turbo Tax would not let me save or print my return, so I had to copy it by hand and file a hard copy. I did have one problem this year with the H&R Block software - it would not load properly until I stopped my Windows Defender software from blocking the installation.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

TaxCut has been my Go-to Tax Software for years. It's usually the cheapest of the major brands, and it's relatively intuitive. Occasionally the search function isn't as useful when looking up more obscure tax questions.
Pros: Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I found at least place where the help connection lead to an interpretation of the law which was flat wrong. I also came to a K-1 entry which returned that the software could not handle that entry.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I've been using H & R Block Premium Software for years as I own a small business and have rental property. It's saves me both time and money. Once I have all of my material together, it take me about an hour to do my taxes and have never had a problem.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Great Features and Excellent Software for Clergy

I have used H&R Block Tax Software for over 10 years and very happy with it. I am in the ministry and this software makes it easy to file the special forms needed for clergy taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Great except for the free e file.

I have used this software since it was labeled Tax cut. It is really good and easy. I wasn't able to get the free e file to work and had to pay for filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
