I've been using it for many years. This year I had some issues with the healthcare section where it indicated to call them since the software could not be getting the best return possible. Also it requires that some data be manually corrected or changed which could be confusing. I would say it's good for the price and would recommend it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Couldn’t get updates to download. Had to completely uninstall program and install a newer version. Automated help was terrible, and spent 30 minutes on hold to actually speak to a person.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Compatibility with Accounting Software

The use of H & R tax software was simple and done in one day. Though my life is simple, the tax documents are not. H & R give you the guidance and confidence to complete the process without creating any conflict with the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
