I've been using this software for many years. I have found it to be user friendly, reasonably priced and informative on items and updates/changes in recent tax changes. Had to wait 2 days for an updated form but this was all due to IRS updates.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first time using HRblock desktop software and I like it very much at the same time when I started using it.

I have been using the H&R Block Tax software for many years. This year it appears to be the best yet. However, it could be improved with the inclusion of worksheets for the 1099CSA forms. If the instructions on how to navigate to the are included they need to be made more available to locate the work sheets and to make them interactive

2018 Taxes Done Easy

Purchased Premium 2018 Software using February special. Loaded tow state programs without issue. Completed all three in less that seven hours. Well worth the time, effort, and money.

Too simplified, actually made it harder to use

I know what I am doing and would like a way to just enter my documents by form number instead of going through the questionnaire. I found it more difficult to answer all of your questions than just select a form from a menu and enter the information on it. Multiple other platforms allow this function. I wont purchase this again.
Pros: Easy to install, Maximizes refund, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2018 taxes

doing the taxes with this is pretty easy, the hard part is assembling the papers to be mailed the program spits them out in all different order, then the stupid cover sheet tells you what to mail but it is all dis-configured, very very aggravating to try to put it together in the right order.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I used this product after using other software for the last few years. This was easier to understand, quicker, and more intuitive than others I have used. Worth it!
