Fine software, and have been using for 5-6 years now but I'll be switching to TurboTax next year since it has integration with Robinhood.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

A good, but not great, presentation of a nearly impossible tax maze. Needs just a tad better explanation of many questions. Better than the competition which couldn't allow me to file federal and state even with phone help.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

Could improve the transfer of data from previous year's use and have safeguards in place. For example, on the rental portion, when an incorrect total is put in for rent collections, it could check against last year's and put out a warning.

Colorado tax program not up to expected standards

Federal return was great. Colorado return was not to the same standard. I had to open the form inside the program and manually enter my LTC credit on the line, after reading the Colorado tax booklet to figure out what I was doing. The program also made me look up what my under age 55 maximum retired military pension deduction was.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

Since I have been using the HR Block tax program since they took over from Taxcut, I don't have anything to compare it with but it has been easy to follow and always gets the tax form complete in very little time.
