Easy to use

I've used H&R Block tax software for many years and I'm completely satisfied. The instructions are easy to follow and the return transmits smoothly to the IRS and state tax agency. This year there was a slight glitch because the software had to update before I could file and the program didn't tell me to close the software before I updated it. I had to go through the update sequence 3 times before I could submit my returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

There was one problem with my return. The program gave two different amounts when I went to E-File my return. I had to submit my return for review and was told that I had to manually enter my refund amount to match my refund.

Love that the past years info will merge with the current year. Software seemed to have some glitches this year. I did the update and lost one of my current tax returns I was getting ready to submit.

Terrible design for married joint/separate return comparison. Many of the inputs for the main person is put into the spouses section. I could not get a good tax comparison!!!
