This year for the first time in 13 or 14 years I have had issues with the program. Trouble downloading. Could not get the state program at all. had to contact help who sent it to me via email. could not upload the federal program at all had to mail it. could not do the stat as directed. could not do estimated quarterly payments on system. This has been so poor a product for the first time.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Always use this software - easy to use and covers all scenarios. Didn't give a 5 this year because downloading the updates thru the software this year was not as seamless as it has previously been

Poor and unintuitive interface. Certain questions can no longer be accessed if the user navigates away from the question, e.g. filling in user drivers’ license ID information. Audit notes do not link directly to section required to fix the error.
Pros: Easy to import documents
