I rate this with a 5 star is because I have been using H&R Block for many years. It carried all of my data from prior year. All I need is to update data to current year information. I spent less than an hour to complete, verify and efile my return. For new users, it will take you longer for the first year using it. In particular if you made error the validation and correction can be a little confusing but not difficult. The software will show you the form and hightlight the error in yellow. Another good feature is it allows you to download some info from financial institutions so as to safe you time doing input.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have been using the software for several years. I just wish viewing the forms was a little easier and that you could just scroll thru all or the forms in the return, not search form by form.

Trouble with software prevented return from being

Federal and state return were rejected when I first submitted them due to a software problem. When my program was updated I was able to resubmit it and it was accepted. My state return still is not able to be sent.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
