Always find that HR Block tax software is easy to use, reasonable to buy, and therefore have been using for the last 6 years.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I have nothing but problems with software. It is always asking for updates. I have two or more pass words.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Taxes Done Easy

I have used H&R Block tax software for many years. It's always easy since the software walks me through every step and asks questions to be sure I get everything right and every deduction I deserve. I appreciate H&R Block has my back via Audit Support.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I bought this program to help with my rental home which it did, and expected to have the free state return as well. Still charged me for the state return.
Pros: Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just started renting part of my house out had all the info and forms and was easy to use

I've used H&R Block software for 5 years or so, since Turbotax raised its prices to what I considered an exorbitant rate one year. HRB was not as good at the time, but it was sufficient. It is still sufficient, but has some quirks that irritate me. One is that you can look at only one actual form at a time. Often, I'd like to look at a federal 1040, and the schedules that support it. However, it's GoTo feature is the most useful part of the program. I like that.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming
