Well both my federal and state income taxes are complete and submitted. There was a lot of time involved in finishing and checking everything but the software was very thorough and I believe it is correct,
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

I thought the program was ok but not outstanding. Finding where to put a 6 digit pin number was somewhat hard to find and should have been easy.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Found bugs and reported them ... they did not take me seriously even though I am a software engineer and they also refused to compensate me in some way for the troubles I experienced.
Problems include: 1. Import failure from last year's return.
2. Rental home from 2 homes get co-mingled when any changes are made.

HORRIBLE SUPPORT and lack of compensation for hours wasted dealing wiht software bugs by me - a software engineer.

I've been using H&R Block software for over 20 years and am very familiar with the layout and data entry process. Very straightforward and for the most part the data transfer from financial institutions works well.

Disappointed that the program doesn’t allow me to attach other documents such as basis adjustments for k-1.
Also disappointed that I can’t attach federal forms to state program which then requires printing and snail mail vs e-filing.
Supporting directions are often vague requiring me to look up, download, and print from IRS.gov.
For reference I purchased desktop premium version.

Glad I switched!

I was a 24-year user of TT. This year I purchased HRBLOCK after TT discontinued ItsDeductible, and TT failed to help me get authenticated to their system. Like the IRS forms, HRBLOCK leaves a few calculations unexplained, but it works. I also found it easy to use DeductibleDuck as a front end for HRBLOCK's Charitable Contributions.
I would recommend this to a friend!
