For a period of a few weeks, I could not transition from federal return to state return without locking up my whole file (error message that I could not get by). I reloaded the software (federal and state) twice, requiring I complete my return from scratch each time, all without success. After moving to TurboTax, I tried one last time before filing, and there was a new state update, which I installed, and my return could be opened and my state return completed. I seems clear there was a bug in the software which the update fixed.
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was not as easy or user Friendly as I had hoped. While it was acceptable I might look elsewhere next year. I have a K1 and that was very difficult to navigate, your help section wasn't very helpful. I had to search online. The dedications part was also a bit confusing I wasn't sure what all to enter or where to put stuff. I'm a little nervous about Audit over the K1 stuff as I'm not sure I did it right.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I did my taxes no problem. I wanted to check my estimated tax payments for 2025 and I could not find it. When I searched for it all it gave me was 2026 estimated vouchers.

I've been using HR Block software for 15 years.I worked for HR Block for 11 years. I use it on a Mac laptop. When I registered the software it mentioned that I need Mac 12.0 or above for it to work correctly. Mac 12.0 + is not available anymore! This should have been mentioned on the packaging so I could see it before I bought it. I used it anyway and there were mistakes the software made, but I was able to correct them. I guess I won't be able to use HRblock sofware in the future. Maybe Turbotax is more user friendly.
