Worked perfectly for me!

I had w2 income and 1099MISC income (with deductions). I was nervous to do this myself, but it was not too difficult and I feel pretty confident about the end result. I didn't have any problems e-filing with federal or state--I'm not sure why so many people are saying they have that problem, perhaps it's the firewall on their PC. Anyway, it was a great experience and I'll be doing my own taxes with this software from now on.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great instructions, well designed input format, easy to use. One problem, updates...should inform user whether updates may change your return or if it is ok to file. After one update, there is always another...a question whether its ok to file. Otherwise, a great product!

This is the fourth year that I have used the H&R Block Federal and State tax preparation software. I like the idea that updates are done on time and are extremely easy to do. Whenever I have a question, it's easy to view the explanation which is written so that one does not have to be a CPA to understand it. The very best thing is the confidence one has that when the final submission is ready, you get a message that says your filing is error-free and if audited, H&R Block will help settle all audit questions. Pure confidence!!
