It would be higher as I have liked using your software for the last decade but because of a 'shortcoming' I had several failed state efiles, had to wait on hold and waste over an hour talking to your support and had to file an amended Federal return so the state would go through.

While it works for the most part, there are limitation in this software. For example, this software is not friendly to file for seniors who have retired and only have social security. Application does not allow for taxable income of 0 for 1040-SR. It also does not allow electronic filing if my W-2 shows employer subsidized in box 10.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i have been using HR Blocks tax software for the last 3 tax seasons. the software is user friendly with lots of helpful information. my only issue with the software is that there were issues with the update process

I've used this software for years. It works quite well. The one issue I wish they would fix is they check for software updates while filing after purchasing e-file. The software then determines it needs to install an update, downloads and updates, goes through several screens -- luckily it remembers most of the data entered -- then asks for you credit card info and charges you again..

I have used this software for 25 years. I cannot believe that I cannot load my Merril activity automatically. I have always done this. The software is now not worth anything if I have to load it all manually.
