I was glad to have access to a program that was similar to Turbp Tax - a program that I have used for more than twenty years. Their decision to not support Windows 10 was probably a bonus for H&RB. In all honesty I preferred Turbo because in my opinion they generated a superior interview and made suggestions that ultimately saved me money. I was also distressed that I was unable to print my State return for unknown reasons. That will be an ongoing project. My returns are simple enough that that H&RB was good enough but small things like, last year, Turbo suggesting I increase my estimated tax submissions enabled a small refund this year. Had I not done so this year's tax owed would have been substantial. Spreading the taxes over the year is just more convenient for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For the most part it did a good job. A few hiccups that could have been easier to fix, and disappointed in the help section. I got rejected twice because my AGI wasn't correct but finally found out how to fix it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I have been using this software forever and will continue to do so. However, over the course of the past several years, when I click on the Accuracy Review, I get messages that, sometimes, seem to be irrelevant to my return. Every now and then, one might relate to a question in the Interview that I failed to answer (Yes or No). Most of the messages will refer to a "Worksheet" that was not a part of the process of entering my data. Overall, the software is very good and makes doing our taxes fairly easy.
