Most of the overall functionality and guided sections work fine; however, the reason I gave this one start is because it literally required 20+ hours for me to manually enter each stock trade and then wait for around 2 minutes between entries. This is not acceptable. Additionally, the program would crash without notice, and I would lose what information I added. I learned to keep several copies so that I could at least have an archived copy. Each crash cost me 20-30 minutes additional work. I'm seriously thinking of trying a different company next year to avoid this nightmare.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband worked for H&R Block for many years both while active duty Air Force, and after he retired. He taught my daughter how to do taxes and now she does mine for me too.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Does the job. Shouldn't have to pay to file the state return. I file paper. But the program implies that you must efile the state.

I purchased the 2025 tax software immediately upon it being available in the fall of 2025. There was some sort of mix-up after I paid. I had to reapply and the fee went up. I spoke with someone at the time, they explained they are having glitches and rolling out this year's tax software. she apologized. But it was a waste of an hour of my time to clear it up. Please, next year don't send out emails saying that the software is ready unless it truly is ready and you are ready to accept payment.

I was able to complete my tasks with the software. There were some issues with the updates not loading properly. I have used this software for many years, I was disappointed with the price increase due to Schedule C.
