I have been using H&R Block to do my personal and small business taxes for more than 10 years, and it makes my life SO EASY at tax time! What I love the most is that it fills in all of the spaces for me from info on previous tax forms, and all I have to do is change only what needs changing! What used to take me days, even weeks, to do, now only takes a couple of hours! It takes longer waiting for the IRS to update their forms than it takes to prepare one's taxes with this software! LOVE IT!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Accounting for Social Security income caused me a problem because. I could not get the system to recognize that none of it was taxable. Waiting for updates was agonizingly slow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used it for years and this is the first year my return was rejected due to a needed update, not happy! It also calculated the incorrect AGI from last year even though I used their product.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not the sharpest tack in the box at age five 77 but was able to follow the directions given and the questions asked to complete the forms without a problem
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Overall I was happy with the product only problem I had was when entering my wifes W-2 by using the EN# it put her W-2 in 3 times so I had to delete them and manually do it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I've used H&R Block Tax Software nearly forever and I've tried some other packages as well. They all pretty much do the same things, but H&R Block seems easier to use in my opinion, plus it comes with error checking and audit support. What more could I want.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

As said in the review title, after I'm done with my taxes I have no doubt in my mind they are done correctly using H & R Block. Great peace of mind! Really helpful with self employment forms and state forms. Wish I could open more than one form at a time though. Sometimes it helps to be able to jump from one form to another without having to open and close forms.
