Because of misleading promotion on your part, I upgraded—unnecessarily—my subscription from Deluxe to Premium. Now, not only was I gouged on the price, I will also have to go in and cancel my automatic renewal to keep from being gouged twice. Fool me once... well, you know.

I think the H&R Block Premium is helpful. When I answer the interview questions, the software fills out the forms, and then gives me an audit assessment at the end so that I can make corrections before e-filing. I love that e-filing option. In years past, the program had an UPDATE TAB at the top so I could click periodically to make certain that I was answering the most current version. I hope that next year’s tax program will install it again.

We've been using H&R Block tax software for many years and love the ease with which we can do our taxes. Two little glitches, though. In this 2025 version, it doesn't completely fill one of the forms automatically from the questions (AIC) so we get an error and have to go searching on the form for what it needs. Secondly, the "AI" isn't very good. Sometimes it answers the 1st question, but we always get a "textplate" unuseful response with a follow-up question. This is where AI should shine -- we LOVE Microsofts CoPilot.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

It was not clear what to do with the ALF 1099. Enter or don’t enter. When I tried to enter I got an error.
