I would recomend this sofware to any new users.

just used your software 1st time for 2025 taxes.
I used turbo tax for years.
there were some serious problems with the 1st year they went to download the program no disk available.
then they did not accept any computer with anything older than windows. that said your sofware was much better than the TurboTax@em2.turbotax.intuit.com.
I was hoping I could import data from my PDF. I a composite type with a lot of different forms.
I was able to log into my account and H&R Did well a put up red flags to figure out what was wrong.
And last few years I was able to do it without the logging into my account. which is not a comfortable thing to allow.
Also having my security and other data needed right into the beginning steps of entry was unsettling have that available for the many days it took to finish and having it accepted. I don't know if ther is any security built into the program. I was thinking might be good to require a password to open the program after purchased. the program was well thought out and having answered and suggestions built in was very good. only needed a couple of internet searches for some questions.

Always used TurboTax. Tried Block this year because TT was forcing me to upgrade to windows 11. My computer is too old to upgrade to 11 but it is fine for me so I'm not being forced to upgrade because of one stupid program. A friend told me that Block does not require it this year. If you do next year, I'll be doing my taxes by hand.

Was simple to download and it was not too hard following the instructions although some sections you had to do some research and background work to fill in the response to the questions being asked but overall was pretty straightforward, and the cost was reasonable.
