Not pleased with this years version. Followed everything just like in previous years and everything was fine. This year though program calculations were wrong and received less money for my state refund than the program calculated. Not good

Worthless software. Very poor explanations (IRS instructions are better). Hard to navigate back to earlier steps. Printing for mailing has trouble with duplex printers. I needed form 8606, I had to wait for two weeks for a software update to include it.

I have been using HR Block Premium software for over a decade with satisfaction. This year the program indicated that I needed to enter the "1st yr Roth distr" in Box 11 of an IRA Distributions worksheet during the Home Review process even though I have never had Roth accounts. The program provided no help in resolving this issue. This was very frustrating and time consuming. I was very disappointed that there was not alert for this "bug".
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
