I have used TurboTax for decades but switched to H&R Block this year because TurboTax requires Widows11. H&R's software still allowed use of Windows10. Windows11 is a smelly poo that I refuse to use. I have been a dedicated Linux user since the early 1990's. Please develop your tax software for Linux.

Good value, was able to prepare returns for the 4 of us in the family. Only had two issues, one is that the program is not easy to back up a step or two to review something, makes you go thru all the questions again. Maybe I just don't know the shortcuts yet. Also, on the Illinois state program, if would not accept my granddaughter's State ID number, it runs out of spaces, not allowing the G on the end to be added, caused a rejection. Had to use the last year AGI instead, that worked ok
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything went well as it has for years. I e-filed my taxes and printed off my return. The next time I logged in, my return was no longer able to be retrieved. I called support with the error and really got no help, just a ‘it says here to Uninstall/Reinstall. I asked for help with this so as not to lose my return file. I was placed on hold for so long I hung up. I still can’t access my return

Very good product. I especially like how easy it was to export files from another program.The only reason I didn’t rate it as excellent is because I have to get used to it. I had used another product for several years, but decided to try Block because I heard it was highly recommended.

Each time an update came out my software would not reload I kept getting a message that a certain pathway was missing and had to keep reloading original program to work so no I will not be using your software anymore if I get this years done
