I BAUGHT THIS SOFTWARE AND IM NOT HAPPY BECAUSE I CAN'T FILE MY AMENDED RETURN.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have made three attempts to file creating a new return each time. Taxes are successfully submitted but after several minutes an email arrives saying the IRS cannot accept our return. I have updated the program each time and fixed all errors. The 3rd attempt came back saying the program needed to be updated again but that update would not be available until 2/24/26. Very frustrating!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used HRB's software for my taxes for longer than I care to mention. However, unfixable errors in the 2025 Premium software have made it impossible to file online. As far as I know, my wife's AGI is the same as mine.
