I am having technical software issues. The online help desk and AI couldn’t solve my issue. The phone help desk was supposed to call me back but they haven’t. Until I get my issue resolved, I cannot file my return. Very frustrating! I’ve used this tax software for many years but now considering going elsewhere next year.

Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used this program for many years and it is excellent in my opinion. I use Premium because I have royalties that I need to declare and out of state taxes that I can claim.

This is from Ciciley's son Michael, who actually did her taxes as well as my son's.. I was very disappointed with this product. There was an apparent glitch in the software which deleted the local tax paid from the final tabulation, resulting in the system stating that my son owed over 1400 dollars in state taxes. I tried multiple ways to edit the forms, but nothing worked. I also tried deleting the entire tax form and starting over but couldn't figure out how to do it. I finally was able to get in through to a customer service representative, who I spoke with for over 45 minutes, and he was not able to provide a solution to the problem. He stated that an agent would be calling me within five days, and I still haven't received that call. Once I was finally able to figure out on my own how to delete the entire return and start over, it was an easy fix that just required a couple of clicks to do so. I also had an issue trying to figure out how to enter insurance premium payments on my own return, and could not get the guidance to do so.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the software for my MAC laptop for the first time this year. It downloaded with no difficulty. However while inputting the data, the software would move the data around and I had to double check it for accuracy especially in areas where the input was for the same issue but different. Example - interest inputs

Even though I used to work as a trained tax preparer for Block, this program can be very confusing at times. I also HATE the way the program prints my return. It is VERY DIFFICULT to read. Even when I choose "Print and Mail" my return, it does NOT print the forms correctly.

Cons: Hard to prepare

I THOUGHT I WAS DOING MYSELF A FAVOR BUYING THIS LOAD OF CRAP . ALL OF A SUDDEN THE IRS IS NOT ABLE TO PROCESS RETURNS WITH VEHICLE WORKSHEET ATTACHED TO IT ? THAT IS SO NOT TRUE AND I KNOW IT ! SAYS I CAN TRY AFTER THEY UPDATE ON THE 27TH --WHY WAIT TIL THEN TO UPDATE ? THIS IS STRAIGHT UP BS , I APOLOGIZE BUT I AM SO ANGRY !!
