I've used it for years and it gets more "user friendly" every year. Finding the right forms is easier. Now they need to set up the quarterly estimated payments with the EFTPS.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

in most cases it covers what needed to do your taxes correctly . you need to work on partnership returns a lot of your K1 directions are not good

I'm a many years user of H & R software. I continue to be satisfied. Of course, some things are still difficult. Year 2024 I sold a rental house and had difficulty feeling good about determining how to recapture the depreciation; I believe that after studying the procedure more thoroughly that I did recapture correctly. I could have used some help, but I didn't know what to ask. I realize that not all things can be explained in great detail. My thoughts about the revisions in the first Trump years to make it simpler are mixed. Perhaps filing is easier for anyone without transactions such as real estate sales. There is always room for improvement is the reason for the four star rating.

I am generally pleased with the tax program However, it should automatically include all of the forms that are required to be filed and not leave it up to me to find and fill out supplemental forms that are required for my federal return. For example, Form 1116, Foreign Tax Credit, should be automatically included where it is required and not leave it up to me to find it.
