The software is functional as previously, but some of the features, such as "other income", I got a non-zero number, but when I clicked it, it only shows many items of taxes, not telling me why I go that number. This is not a right thing for a software.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The program is great. It asks the best questions for most items. However, determining if you should use a schedule C or just put the deductible on the schedule A. To make the correct choose requires several mind-bending thoughts. That criticism might just be me trying to get the best deduction.

I have been using this software for many years, and have always sent my state return where Block has told me to send it. This year my state return was sent back to me because I had the wrong address.
