The capital loss carryover is wrong. Luckily I caught it myself and manually edited. Not sure this happened in previous tax returns. The AGI from last year auto filled is also wrong such that my tax return was rejected the first time I submitted.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for decades, ever since it was known as TaxCut. I have always found it easy to use and I ave never had an issue with a State or Federal tax return. I like the way the program imports the data from my previous return so that I do not have to reenter information that has not changed. The interview method of entering my data works well for me and I am extremely comfortable using it. My returns are complex, with rental properties and a farm.

The software was easy to use and allowed me to file my taxes easily. One section that I thought could be improved was the capital gains section regarding the sale of a home. There could be a combination of factors in how a home was acquired that may or may not affect the outcome, but only one choice is allowed. For instance if two unrelated people or unmarried relatives purchase a house as joint tenant with right of survivorship and one dies. The survivor bought the home and received a gift or inherited, so there are multiple factors. This could make a difference if the amounts are large enough to create a tax liability.
