I have used the Premium edition with 5 federal e-files and 1 state preparation for several years now. It is a better value than the comparable Turbotax product. With Premium I easily report all of my rental property expenses. The interview mode is effective at capturing expenses that I would otherwise miss.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Waste of money, download the IRS instructions inst

Importing last year's return did nothing for me. I expected some value by doing that. Other than grabbing my name, there was nothing. I would expect that as I went through the process the software would say things like "You had two W2s last year from these companies" if I only added one. And I expected it to say "you had three 1099-DIVs last year, but only two this year. Is one missing?"
When I got to the High Deductable/HSA section I was so confused. The software just took the IRS form questions and presented them with no context. I went through that section three times knowing that the calculations were wrong because I answered the questions asked, not the questions that SHOULD have been asked. Finally I deleted the return, started over, and read the IRS instructions instead of the instructions in the UI. What the heck am I paying you for?
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The software is very affordable, relatively easy to use, and imports TurboTax just fine. It takes a little time to get use to the differences from TT, which I have used for over a decade. Learning how to navigate through all of the necessary forms takes getting used too. Once you have some practice, software is easy to use. It is not quite as easy as TT when first trying to use it.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Ordered when first offered, started in early February to determine any missing info. Finished entry early April, received last update in early April and filed week before deadline. Before finalizing, rechecked entries and went final. Only glitch was bad PIN and had to print and mail. Easy one all data is available for income, withholding and deductibles.
