It's messy. You measure out the right amount and some drips elsewhere. I left it on the stand and it left a ring I couldn't repair. When placed in a drawer, it leaked out of the container. It should be in a premeasured, water soluble capsule you simply add at the proper time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
