Plastic hub that holds blade cracked after little use. Replacement part is not available. Doesn't matter how good it worked for a short time if a little plastic part renders the whole thing useless.

Terrible waste of money!

I received this as a gift and am sadly disappointed. I used this slicer 3 times before the pinion gear stripped and now the slicer is a paper weight. I have tried several times to get the part to repair but it is never available. I am confused by this because they always have the whole slicer to sell but not to repair. Seems like a throw over the wall kind of product. I can’t say I would buy any other merchandise from this manufacturer. I would rather spend more money and get a quality product than a dollar and have to throw it away. What a waste in this throw away culture!

Can’t replace the hud ,looks like it is a common part that breaks.maybe an hour use ,and it’s worthless. Company should replace them if we can’t get the parts

Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store Slicer

This is the first slicer I have owned. I wanted to be able to slice ham into sandwich slices, store in one pound packages. I was able to do that with this slicer. I figured out how to cut pieces from a whole ham to place on the slicer and dial my preferred slice size. GREAT instructions for prevention of cutting myself. Great instructions of use as well as cleaning instructions. I am impressed on how easy it was to take apart for cleaning. It weighs 10 pounds so easy for me to clean, use and store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

it will slice almost anything

we use this to slice meat for the smoker and sandwiches, fruit for the dehydrator and the bread we bake. I'm not sure why but it is not uncommon for the food that has been sliced to get caught on the bottom of the slicer so the machine has to be burned off to free the trapped food. I am currently looking for more food grade lube.

I bought the electric food slicer for slicing pork bellies into bacon and making beef jerky. I did but the non serrated blade and this slicer cut through the smoked pork belly like butter. I highly recommend this slicer for someone who needs one for personal use.
