Very nice fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the fridge that we wanted, and we decided to spring for it for our new home, despite its insane price (we ended up getting a good deal locally on a floor model, which is why we went for it: ended up being same price as Samsung Bespoke, which was our second choice, but rated much more 'unreliable', a big concern). Bottom line: it's an excellent fridge, but not perfect. We would buy it again.
The good:
- Super quiet fridge. This is so nice.
- Stunning looking fridge. Everyone comments on it, which is a bit weird. It's definitely unique, and that wine cooler section in the middle is amazing.
- remarkably well laid-out, with a few sorting gadgets that make efficient use of space (like an egg-tray on a rail in the back).
- when it's not happy (e.g., you left the door open too long), an alarm rings that is actually not irritating. That's a miracle in itself (see: LG). Also, the app pings you on your phone to let you know there's a problem.
- the glass finish is also a very nice touch. It looks much better than straight stainless, and doesn't show fingerprints as much. It should be much harder to scratch as well.
The good:

The not-so-good:
- ours came without a freezer drawer gasket(!!). So of course, it didn't work right. Good news: the retailer fixed it right away, and removed all the frost that built-up etc. Not a big deal in the end, but it does make you wonder about quality control... (Again, this is a floor model, so it might have nothing to do with Bosch itself, just the store... we don't know)
- the app is a bit of a pain to setup. This is not my first experience like this with Bosch apps, and it seems to be a common thread acros the brand: they are clearly not a software company. In the end, you make it work.
- This is a BIG, EUROPEAN fridge. Which means it's a small fridge. You won't be able to store as much stuff as your old fridge. But again, the layout is excellent and you can make good use of that space, fairly easily. And you don't waste as much food as the big ones! Maybe Europe got it right. We're a family of three, and this is never a problem, but it's noticeable. On the flip side, the freezer is huge.

Overall, we bought a 5 year extended warranty just in case, and haven't had a problem since the gasket. We are extremely happy with it. We highly recommend it.

Space saving and convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this fridge in September and it was delivered in November 2023. I love the convenience of having a wine fridge built into the same footprint as our regular fridge, especially in a smaller kitchen area. The loss of space in the fridge is something I've noticed as I'm getting ready for holidays, but normally with our small family of 3, the fridge space is enough for us. I love the ice in the top freezer drawer - so much more convenient (and more quiet) than having ice in the door.

My Bosch 800 series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The apperance is like none other. Finally a refrigerator that does not look like a bulky refrigerator. Sleek smooth lines, just elegant. The stainless with the glass finish is very easy to clean. The performance surpasses any refrigerator out there, so many options, so quiet you never hear it running. This was my best purchase yet, don't pass it up! More than 5 stars, more like the universe.
