Looks nice but a few design quirks....

As mentioned in other review, if you install it totally flush to cabinetry the door will not be able to open far enough. It has to stick out a fair bit to allow door to open far enough such that you can slide the wood slats that hold the bottles in and out. Essentially the body of the unit is flush and the entire width of the door needs to be sticking out from the surrounding cabinets. Also, somewhat bizarrely, you are able to have the handle on the left or right side (this can be important if installed near a corner due to the clearance needed to open the door fully) but changing to the right side involves rotating the door 180 degrees which leave the 'newair' logo upside down and in a more prominent location on the top end of the door. I asked customer service about this and they said the logo is glued on and cannot be removed without scuffing the door. Disappointing design.

VERY loud

We bought this fridge as part of our kitchen renovation. We thought it would be a nice added touch. When we installed it we found it to be VERY loud. I called and told them about it. They said that to was a "quiet" unit and they would replace it. They then told me that normally the cost to ship the old unit would not be covered under the warranty but if I posted a nice review on the product they would cover the return shipping. When we got the new unit, plugged it in and it is just as loud as the first one. Emailed the rep that I had been working with and she asked me to send a video of the unit making the noise. I did and they told me that the noise was normal. If you don't care about a loud fridge then this unit will be fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact Unit That Looks Great

We have purchased several small (5-6 bottle) wine coolers over the years, but this one we like the most of all of the ones we have had. It holds 7 bottles (1 more than any others we have had) and is very compact - can sit on the floor or next to a cabinet on the counter (too tall to just sit on any countertop). We have it on the floor and it looks great - blends right in. Highly recommended.

Good build quality. Door not designed for built in

My wife and I just purchased this wine fridge and were very excited to install it in our kitchen as a built in fridge surrounded by cabinetry. The build quality seemed quite good for the proce and the fridge appeared to cool quickly. However, the fridge door design means that the door will not open entirely if the fridge is installed flush with cabinetry even it sticks out to the level of cabinetry doors. The fridge door opens and simply smacka thw face of the cabinet and the large handle prevents the door from opening as far as it could for convenience. With intended installation it is possible to reach in a pull out bottles but it is not poasible to slide the shelves out. If the fridge was installed 'sticking out' such that the wine shelves vould be extended, we noted that the shelves slide all the way out without any skort of catch preventing them from crashing to the floor. If my wife and I can find a work around for thjs, we may keep this unit.

A great fit for our small kitchen!

We remodeled our 1950s galley kitchen and this unit was able to fill an awkward space we had in the original cabinetry plan. We never thought we'd be able to fit a wine fridge in our small kitchen until we came across this one!

So sleek looking

I bought my wine cooler about a month ago and just installed it in my new kitchen. It looks so nice and the blue light gives it a very modern look. My wine bottles were cooled instantly! I love it!

The worst

The worst purchase I could have made. I bought a device which does not cool. They were not responsible for the warranty. It never cooled properly and I had only bought it a week ago.
