What I like most about this unit is the size. The unit broke after 3 months but customer service replaced the unit for me promptly which was very much appreciated.

Purchased "refurbished" straight from Newair. Besides minor dents on top black cover (hardly noticeable), it appears to be a flawless new refreshment frig to me. Works great. Also received were a couple more "hinge" pieces that I haven't a clue what for (besides the clear tray we don't believe necessary). Also, an additional short shelf that we don't know what for and removed. We use this frig as a stand-alone in our pantry. Very happy to date!

Doesn't Cool

We purchased a new ABR-1770 last Sept. as we were in the planning stages of a renovation. The beverage cooler remained boxed until it was finally installed and plugged in on March 24, 2020. It never cooled below 45 degrees, often the thermometer read 50 even though we kept it set at 36. This is too warm for a refreshing soda. We contacted NewAir and they agreed to send us a new unit, however, we had to pay the $55 shipping. We agreed, and to their credit, they sent a replacement unit within the week. On May 10th we received the new beverage cooler. The delivery man rang our doorbell and made a hasty retreat as the box was badly banged up and torn. We contacted NewAir before opening the box, they said yes, go ahead and open it. The unit seemed OK, so we had to extract the malfunctioning 122 pound fridge from the wall unit and installed the new one. We repacked the malfunctioning unit and repacked it in the remnants of the beaten up box, and guess what? THIS ONE WON'T GET BELOW 45 DEGREES EITHER! Sorry NewAir, we can't say anything positive about this unit other that it looks nice. This has been a lesson for us. We shouldn't have cheaped out in the beginning and gone with a product we know to be dependable and price be hanged.

This is very attractive in our newly remodeled basement. It holds so much and we sure appreciate the ease of loading it. It runs very quietly and keeps beverages cooled nicely. It is reasonably priced and we don't know how we got along without it!

Black is great and cool blue light

I purchased it 2 months ago for a built in counter that i finished on my wet bar...I used website dimensions and it fit perfectly once I got the unit. The black color match very nice with the rest of the bar and the blue light is very cool. My Perrier's and Beers stayed at a nice 37 degree..

Where does the clear box go?

I've seen the question asked on here multiple times but no answers on here as to where the clear box goes and what it is for. I'd give you a 5th star if that answer was on your site or in your manual. Hope it works as well as it looks.

I do apologize the clear square container is a moister container it can be placed anywhere within the unit with distilled water to help maintain the humidity within the unit.
