Really well made and sturdy. Only thing I would improve is the vertical stand could have one more upright setting so that it can stand almost against the back wall of my kitchen counter when I’m cooking.

Get portable stand

I wanted something small that was more rigid than the case to be able to use my iPad Pro, and this stand fits the bill. It is small enough to fit in my tech case, and I like that two angles I am able to use to support my iPad. Especially when I am using the Apple Pencil. I can easily recommend this for anyone with similar use cases.

All features are now worse than in the original.For example the extension to put the stand to more upright position doesn't stay open and the stand falls down to lower position.

this was a great piece of my office for about two days. i love the convenience it provides for using iPad in the hands and on the desk! however the back extension piece suffered a mechanical failure just a few days in, and will no longer hold in the extended position.

Doesn’t work as an easel for the iPad Pro 12.9

This seems well-made, but I bought it to be an easel for the iPad Pro 12.9 and it didn’t work at all. The device rocks off the left and right sides if you try and draw anywhere but dead center. What’s kinda lousy is that TwelveSouth advertises this as an iPad easel, but says nothing about it not working with certain size iPads. You HAVE to clarify what devices its compatible with, and they didn’t do that. There’s no WAY TwelveSouth couldn’t be unaware of this issue, so they should own up to it in the product description to help buyers out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
