The filters and process for buying was excellent. On the flip side, knowing I needed the filters to make the range hood ductless was a mystery. The range hood is advertised as ducted or ductless. The installation instructions make new mention of how to install the unit ductless. This information needs to be in the installation instructions at a minimum and should be in the item description at the time of purchase.

I bought these a little over a month ago, and am so happy I did. These are nothing like other charcoal filters I've had on other hoods. The actual filters function so much better, but additionally, the placement (1 on each side) seems
a better long term design.

One of the two filters had a broken clip. The clip is plastic and holds the filter in place. I was able to superglue the clip back and avoid returning the defective piece.
