Don't Waste your Money

Bought this about a year and a half ago, complete waste of money. Caps lock key broke after a couple months (keeps breaking after fixing it multiple times). Gets overheated VERY quickly, don't put this on a wooden desk or you might get a housefire. Battery is not detected glitch has been on it for several months now. I have tried every update and restarting method, nothing has worked. Immediately shuts off if it is unplugged. Also probably has some current leak because if your arm rests on the metallic edge, you will be shocked! The shocks aren't coming from my house socket, they are grounded. Definitely a cheap buy that I wouldn't take for free.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missing quality

First laptop had many problems like keyboard buttons didn't work for a few days, then I laptop wouldn't let me log in with finger print or key board input. So brought it back. Second lap top there is blooming on top of screen, I'm taking it back. No more Acer for me.

I regret buying this, too many problems

I bought this for school in January and at first it was wonderful, then only 2-3 months after purchase, the keyboard back light stopped working and the charging cable was not charging properly. I brought it in and Geeksquad fixed it. Now, 9 months after purchase (October), I'm experiencing more problems. Here is a list: cable not charging properly, audio malfunctions when usb-c ports are utilized, keyboard back light stopped working, pen is not being recognized, and screen shuts off sometimes when laptop is repositioned. I bought this for +$1200 cnd after tax, and quite frankly, it's unacceptable for the lack of quality this laptop has. Please don't buy this, save yourself some stress. I'll be going in to see Geeksquad in a few days to claim yet another warranty.
