Rescue usb power port gets corroded over time.

It's a good lock but I had an issue that may be common with people. My lock had stopped working completely. I reset it, put fresh batteries but nothing changed. It was completely black with no signs of power. So I took it apart and started inspecting for shorted or burned out components with a multi-meter. I found that the rescue power usb board was corroded and shorted. I removed the connector and she was alive and fully functional again. I hope this helps someone.
