This monitor provides the "real estate" to allow more room for my photo-editing program to work with. The "buttons" on the back of the monitor let me fine-tune the screen so that the image on the screen matches my printouts.

I like to do genealogy and read old documents, etc. These monitors are the best for looking at all the censuses and handwritten letters and pictures. I have both monitors together on my desk with a 10" space between them (that's where the drive is). When I have been stymied in the past by not seeing things clearly on a monitor and just magnifying the text won't work, these big ol' buggers are a boon. Not only can I see what I was looking for easily I am able to see other things better, too. I am really glad I got these.
