Really like this model, I bought it so I don't have to wear headphones and I can listen to my work meetings. I have this and the non speaker model, together side by side, excellent for my spreadsheets I wish the speaker was louder though I would give it a 4 1/2 if I could, so I gave it a 4. as for clarity its a 5. setup easy, paired with the HP docking station, was easy, I was using HDMI cables then switched to 2 Displayport cables. perfect! I have a loud air cond so I hooked up the monitor speaker to my ion speaker and now its even better!

I got this as part of a package deal (buy a desktop get a discount), so I added it to the cart. As screens go, its OK. It's a good size, has a decent profile, doesn't take up a lot of room on the desk and has good colors. It's also a little bright and has a "glossy" screen, which I'm not a fan of, but could deal with. However, the power button on this thing is terrible. Maybe it's just this particular screen, but the only way to engage the power button was to take one hand and press the button while using my other hand to press down on the top of the screen. It's like there's a loose wire or poor connection in there. Because this is new and out of the box, I'm returning it. You might have better luck than I did.

I've been looking for an extra monitor for my HP laptop for sometime and also wanted one with audio so I wouldn't clutter desk up with speakers, etc. After reading reviews on multiple monitors, I decided this is the one I would try, and I've been pleased with it. When I received it, I was surprised at the size (bigger than I thought), no problem :) Setup was fairly easy (after I figured out the power cord wasn't pushed all the way in on the adapter). I was blown away by the quality of all of the different pages I used. As for the sound, it's not like my old separate speakers were, but it's worth not having to use more connections. At this point, the quality seems good and I hope it continues to serve me for a long time. Only thing I would have liked was to have a more complete setup guide. I also got the care package for it which I try to do with ALL my electronics. Thanks HP.
