[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my LG monitor for a couple of weeks now. Set up was very easy but I do wish the instruction sheet had some detail to it. The one sheet was mostly pictures, with very little instruction. But even without the specifics, we were able to set it up quite quickly. It does come with a CD owners manual, but my main laptop does not have a disc drive.
I work from home and when working in the office, I was used to having dual monitors. So, it was a big adjustment to working on a 15" laptop screen. Most of my work is in spreadsheets and trying to look at tiny numbers all day is straining on the eyes.
Now I have more than double the screen size and working with numbers and presentations has become so much easier. It's like going from a phone screen to an IMAX movie screen. I can keep multiple screens open, side by side, without having to flip from screen to screen. They align nicely across the screen.
I have shared my experience with many of my co-workers, who are now working from home and they have begun to look into purchasing an LG monitor as well. While we had monitors in the office, due to Covid-19 we are unable to go to our office and bring our company issued monitors home.
Aside from work, my son plays online games and will hook up his laptop to play. The graphics are amazing with no lag in the display.
