I bought this item and it arrived in 2 business days, wow! Box looked like it was a return, extra tape in a few places. Plugged it in and all is good, screen looks untouched, I am happy! Great price, all is good! :)

Warranty issue

I will never by Acer Monitor or other product. I recently bought this monitor from Best Buy with Manufacturers warranty of 1 Year. After about six month I experienced part of monitor screen showing black and other half working.
They don't even cover the shipping for warranty; after I sent they send me back saying screen broken not covered and asked me to pay $110.
Very dis appointed with such a limited warranty which next to no warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy anything Open Box from Best Buy

This is the second time I've purchased something open box from Best Buy. A laptop a few years back (screen came cracked) and this... you guessed it.. Screen came cracked. Pretty sure Best Buy doesnt check anything that comes back and just ships it out. It also didnt come with the VGA cable either.
Horrible experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The colors are not as sharp, and you can see the text pixelated if you really come close to the monitor.
Also the black to white contrast is not as good as my 19-inch ViewSonic monitor.
On the upside, the features on the monitor are really nice, and you can adjust the colors and brightness to suit your liking.

Dont buy Open Box from Best Buy

This is the second open box item I've purchased from Best Buy.. Supposedly Geek Certified.. Like the first thing I ever bought online open box, this came with a cracked screen. Im pretty sure they dont check anything before reshipping
Will not purchase open box again and I dont recommend.
