Picture this: You're 6'5", 205lbs, a side sleeper, share the tent with another human and a rambunctious dog that loves to toss, turn, and sleep on you/your pad....
Do you get a foam pad and sacrifice comfort for assured durability? Do you get a monstrosity of an inflatable pad that is comfortable, but feels like you're about to fall off a ledge all night long?
No, you get the Klymit Static V2 and sleep comfortably regardless of your rambunctious tent partners.
I'll echo the many positive reviews stating that this is an excellent pad, especially for side sleepers. It is incredibly comfortable in any sleeping position, is both long and wide enough for a tall human, doesn't take up too much room in a 2-person tent, and packs down in a tiny, lightweight sack. Not to mention that it has stood up to a dog that likes to bed down on the pad with or without you.
In a sleeping position, properly inflated, you will not bottom out this pad! Sure, if you're sitting in your tent or kneeling on the pad, you'll occasionally feel it bottom out - but it's a sleeping pad, not a camp chair!
I am incredibly impressed by the pad, especially when you consider the factors of durability, weight, comfort, and price. Thanks Klymit, you knocked it out of the park on this one!

Great backpacking pad
on April 3, 2023

A nice pad for backpacking, light and small. 13 breathes seems to fill it up about halfway which is perfect. The one-way flip valve is quite handy and works extremely well. Looking forward to having a nice lightweight sleeping pad on my trips!

Perfect for back packing

I’ve used this for a little over a year with about 25 overnights. It is light, durable, comfortable and easy to use. It’s easily blown up without a mechanical device and takes up very little room in a pack. I has a permanent place in my camping sleep pack along with a lightweight cot and sleeping bag.

When I took this sleeping pad out of the package, I found it had several staple holes from the packaging. It will not stay inflated and I have not been able to use it. Hoping to find a way to patch the holes so it can be used once spring turkey hunting begins. I have not had any previous problems with Klymit products and feel this is an unusual circumstance. I will continue to use and purchase their products.

Very Good Backpacking Pad
on January 17, 2023

I've used this several times and have no complaints. Nice compromise between weight, packed size, and comfort. Reasonably priced. Probably durable if treated gently - I have had no problems so far. Having said that, all inflatables are suspect, and if they spring a leak you're high and dry without any backup. Search for, but never expect perfection from an inflatable.

All season sleeping pad if you know what you’re doing. Good quality, no issues so far with it after 7 uses. Does not take long to inflate

This pad isn't bad. It's lightweight and compact, which is why I bought it. The only issue I have with it is comfort, but that would be an issue with most or any air pad(s). If you're in the market for an inflatable air pad, this does fine.
