Good Budget Bag

For a budget bag this is a very well-made and comfortable pack. I have a torso length of 20" and found that the "medium" setting was perfect for me. As one reviewer states having more size options other than small, medium and large to choose from might work well for others. The material is a little heavier than what is found on other "higher-end" bags which adds a little weight overall but nothing drastic or unmanagable on the trail. The materail feels like it would hold up well against rough conditions and tears. The design is excellant as I am one that does not care of a lot of pockets. I find that having too many pockets can weigh the bag down and throw off its balance on the trail. The pocket in the lid is perfect for sunscreen, sunglasses or other items you need quick access to. The hip belt is much more substantial on this bag compared to others at this price-point. That is a great feature as that helps keep the weight, when fully-loaded, on your hips and off your shoulders. The pockets on the hip belt are perfect for an engery bar, phone or small camera. The load-lifters and compression straps work well for my use. My only dissapointment in this bag is that the top handle, not the handle on the front of the bag but the one used for helping lift to wear is too small. This needs to be a a wider piece of webbing and needs to be a little bigger loop. When putting the bag on I find this handle can cut into your fingers somewhat when fully loaded. Other than that this is a great bag for its price.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity
Good backpack, even for longer hikes, well made, good zippers, the only con is that the adjustment system on the back only has three options SM, M, LG. it could easily be split into 6 options for some fine tuning.
Used it for the first time and very impressed. Already looking to buy a smaller one but the one I have is perfect for 4-5 day trip with ample space for all your needs. #sweepstakes

Great entry-level backpack

My first trip was through the Rocky Mountains. This bag carried 30lbs of gear, comfortably, for the entire thruhike.
I lined it with a pack liner and dry bags, to ensure 100% waterproof-ness of its contents. Nothing inside my bag got wet through the rain, snow, and river crossings. No straps or zippers or seams had any issues.
I’m quite satisfied with my purchase, as I believe this bag offers the best price for performance ratio. I plan on taking it with me for many more adventures!
