Smart?

Bought one of these to replace a cosyfloor controller. Nothing was wrong with it, I just wanted an app to change schedules during seasons vs having to pull out manual for the cosyfloor. First, this thing isn't "smart". You get an app.. yay.. you get to set a schedule, and you get a pretty graph that shows you what it's costing when you estimate your power costs. But that's it. If you set your schedule, this unit literally takes 2 hours to reach set temp. How do you know? Well the graph shows you your setting, and a line representing the floor temp. So you'd think if this was "smart", it would learn how long that takes, and then adjust the curve so the power comes on sooner to hit desired temp set in your schedule.. nope.. doesn't do that. The only thing it has, is a toggle switch to have the power come on a half hour before your schedule set time so floor is warm closer to your start time.. seriously???? Like a user can't just set the schedule a half hour earlier themselves? Who thought this switch was a good idea?? Total joke. I've set my schedule a good hour early, plus this half hour add on and it still doesn't get to temp during that time to be warm for the time I want. Out of a 4 hour window on schedule, id say it hits the set temp an hour of that 4 hours by looking at the graph. So 3 hours it's trying to reach the set temp. Also, the power rating on this seems to be a couple hundred watts above what the cosyfloor controller was so I thought it would be faster. But it isn't anywhere close to how warm that older unit makes the floor feel. For some reason the mysa even set to 2 degrees higher than what my old controller was seems colder. There are cold spots all over the floor that weren't there before with the old controller.
Overall, total waste of money. Nothing "smart" about it in the least like our nest thermostats for the furnaces.... and far less ability to heat our tile floor than the old unit we had before. Thankfully I saved the old cosyfloor controller as I will be putting it back on.
