Poor quality and dirty dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where do I start. The positives first. The look of the machine is nice, the spacing of the drawers are good.
For the bad. You have to make sure your dishes are completely clean before putting them in as this dishwasher will not clean anything slightly dirty, even with manufacturer recommended pods. The build quality is very very poor, my top drawer already broke after 40 days. The wash fans are very flimsy and fall off if you touch them.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your dishwasher. We're very sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered, including the cleaning performance, build quality, and the broken top rack This is certainly not the quality we strive for. Regarding the cleaning performance, while it's generally recommended to scrape off large food particles before loading, the dishwasher should still be able to handle slightly soiled dishes. We actually have a handy Owner Center that can help troubleshoot your issue, taking you through a step-by-step solution. Visit https://producthelp.kitchenaid.com/Dishwashers and select your Dishwasher style to get started. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher a few weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. It is so quiet! We love the third tier. We are truly happy with this dishwasher.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought our Kitchenaide dishwasher last month. After our noisy 26 year old dishwasher, which sounded like a jet taking off, our new one is so quiet. I even had to crouch down in front of it, put my ear to the panel as I thought it was wasn’t working. Haha…now that’s a quiet dishwasher! The dishes are so clean and we love the top rack for cutlery. So pleased we purchased a Kitchenaide.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design and look of the dishwasher is great. When it comes to the actual cleaning it doesn’t perform very well. I am using the manufacturer suggested pods, same as j used with my old Bosch dishwasher. The Bosch would clean everything without me having to rinse, it even took of tough grease on pans. This kitchen aid does not get stuff clean if there’s s little on it. So no I have to make sure I brush everything clean before putting it in the dishwasher. For this price I would look elsewhere.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a quiet dishwasher and we have not been disappointed. Thank goodness it has the cycle signal tiny light on the door!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this Dishwasher for 2 weeks and so far no problems. Seems to get the dishes cleaner than my previous 14 year old Kitchen Aid which was a higher top of the line model. But this one seems flimsier and the internals are much less robust. Nevertheless, it seems to get the job done, and is nice and quiet as well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So pleased with this dishwasher. Easy to load and use; excellent job cleaning all dishes, glasses, etc. and most importantly for me, QUIET. That's what we wanted in a dishwasher and that's exactly what we got!
