Looks nice, not as functional as my old one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] very quiet. The silverware caddy is smaller than my previous kitchen aide model, and hold less, and does not have a separate sponge caddy that I used often. The third rack for large utensils is awkward, and most don't fit in the slots.
the plate and glass racks seem to hold less as well. the detergent compartment seems a little flimsy, no problems yet but I can see it breaking down the road.

I wish the rack had row that would be adjustable on top and bottom rack. Maybe, a little more slant for the to the dishes.

Replacement Dishwsher is an upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old 2012 Kitchen Aid DW electronics panel died. Twas cheaper to buy a new one. Walked into the showroom (yes they still have those) to see things up close and personal after exhaustive online searching. Most of those review sites are bought and paid for, so I have trust issues. The KitchenAid was there for inspection.I liked the improvements over my old one -- new rack design, third (top) shelf, progress light on door, reorganized cleaning options. Checked Costco's price, they beat it and installed it the next day. Never missed a load. This machine is a quiet one, more so that my quiet old guy. Cleans great. No real negatives except new shelf design takes getting used to loading, utensil rack has individual slots. Reviews criticize drying abilities. Its doing okay except top rack needs wipe off.
All in all I am satisfied and believe it's an upgrade over a similar 2012 model. Let's see if it holds up as well as the old guy did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher. In fact, I’d say it is my favorite dishwasher ever. It has a huge capacity and everything comes out dry! That’s a big deal! No more having to dry by hand dishes that are still wet. We’ve owned Kitchenaid before and highly recommend this dishwasher!
