Super Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever seen. It cleans great and has plenty of space. The only downside for me is with the 3rd rack I don't really need the huge basket on the bottom rack. You can take it out but the space with out tines is so wide that it is too large for most items to stand upright.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m so very pleased with my choice. The dishwasher is super quiet and very efficient. Clean dishes always! Love my new appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time using kitchen aid. Happy with 3 level. But I see there are most times when I open after the clean cycle the dishes has egg smell. I never experienced this odd smell coming after clean cycle. Tried doing cleaning empty dishwasher with vinegar and with high heat and prowash as well. But still it persists. Not sure if there is any issue with clogged pipes or plumbing.

Dishwasher is quiet, but loading space is lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher one week ago to replace a 15 year old Electrolux that was here when we bought the house 6 years ago. I like the look/style of the Kitchenaid & it runs very quiet. I'm not really happy about the smaller load capacity, as this means we'll have to run it more often for smaller loads. Also, the top rack is difficult to load as the center is where I used to put our cereal bowls. There is a hump in the center that causes the bowls to fall to either side, taking up room in the next section. When I move the bowls over to the next section, they sit better, but then the section next to them is too small for coffee cups & other items, creating wasted space. I've also noticed that the tines of both racks were positioned straight up, allowing plates & bowls to fall over. I had to actually bend all of the tines at a slant so that the dishes would sit slanted & not fall over. I will say, that our dishes came out sparkling clean & fairly dry as opposed to our old Electrolux model, which was at the end of its life. For years I wouldn't place clear glassware inside the old dishwasher as it would come out cloudy & etched. I took a chance & put some of my Wexford drinking glasses inside the Kitchenaid dishwasher & they came out beautifully! Hopefully, I'll eventually get used to the diminished loading capacity & appreciate the cleaning ability of this dishwasher. I hope we get many years of good service out of it!
