Great Washer
on April 15, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a Whirlpool product. The product leaves no standing water on cups/glasses and I love having my silver ware container in the dishwasher instead of on the door! Everything comes out really clean and spot free. The washer is not as quiet as my first kitchen aid that was purchased in the early 2000s, but it's quiet enough for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing and smelly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our 300 series with a 200 series Kitchen-Aid dishwasher (to save money - broke after just 5 years!!!) — I couldn’t decide if I should give it two stars or three… I may be overly generous here with 3 stars, but the machine cleans quite well, the layout is perfect for me, and it’s very quiet. All good. However, I have a bloodhound’s nose and hate when a dishwasher smells— and I find this machine needs cleaning after every time I use it. That is not acceptable, too much work and still it smells. Must be a design flaw. Im fastidious about cleaning the filter but can’t figure it out and good luck trying to reach anybody at Kitchen-Aid. The phone number goes into a phone tree that does not include anything about customer service only orders, and I tried the contact link online That after all the time spent filling in the form evaporated after I click that I am not a robot box. Lots of waste of time no Satisfaction so I’m not happy with Kitchen-Aid. All I know is that my Mila never gave me any trouble and over 15 years in our last house. … but I bought a whole package for newly built kitchen in this house and liked the look, functionality, and price of the Kitchen-Aid. I’m not able to give it high marks. Refrigerator big drawer where I store our meats and cheeses is so broken it’s got duct tape holding it together… grrr. Again,, less than five years old, and I am a careful user! I deeply resent so much shabby manufacturing that drives up in the landfill while enriching corporations with repeat purchases. All I can say is good luck finding a well-made product and reasonable customer service

Good Enough, But a Little Disappointing
on May 19, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a Samsung dishwasher. The purchase was based on the third rack, and the reliability of the Kitchen Aid brand. We bought online.
Overall, it's a good dishwasher. It does a good job cleaning, especially stainless-steel cookware. The controls are very easy to operate, needing just a light touch. The price was right. There are a few things that cause the 3-star rating.
The third rack is very disappointing. The way it's configured, utensils such as forks, spoons and knives, have to be precisely positioned in the slots. This isn't easy, so it's time consuming and frustrating.
The bottom rack is loosely positioned in the holders and has a tendency to slam against the back of the dishwasher if pushed too hard, causing the dishes that have been loaded to lose position and have to be straightened.
The rinse aid holder is positioned in such a way that it's hard to fill, and hard to tell when it's full or empty.
Possibly we should have looked further, but the existing dishwasher (which was less than 2 years old) was broken and hand washing doesn't cut it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Installation was a bear. The new design made installation very difficult.
It cleans well..but the racks are very delicate
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two things about this dishwasher that I do not like otherwise it is great. The first thing is the handle on the silverware carrier just seems to be in the way all the time so I switched out my old dishwasher carrier. Also the thing that aggravates me the most is There is no lock on the panel so constantly they are being turned on because it takes such a light touch to actually turn them on that whether I’m emptying or loading my leg hits it and it turns on and I gotta keep turning it off. Very frustrating. If there is a lock for this, please let me know because it’s a daily frustration. Thank you. Otherwise, I love the dishwasher
