Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second KitchenAid dishwasher, first one was great, this one seems flimsy. In addition, when I registered it for the warranty the representative tried to sell me insurance in case something outside the warranty broke, I was immediately turned off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed in second rack
on January 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It run very quiet and dishes are clean.
I am disappointed, I can’t put my expresso cups on the second rack the prongs too wide. That is only cups when we drink coffeeAlso the spacing is wider then was my last one on owned. I also don’t have the little blue things on the rack to hold my glasses in place. Any thing you can do to help me? I now have to wash all my expresso cup!

Kitchen-Aid Overall performance
on February 4, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE purchased this a while ago, so far it has been GREAT, washes well, is VERY quiet. What I DO NOT like is the 3rd rack. AS an appliance repair tech & factory rep for 40 years, I think the rack should be redesigned to be just FLAT, no silverware holdings. There is enough in the silverware basket. BUT overall the dishwasher performs GREAT with with water temp @ 140%!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs a very long time on short cycle and everything must be hand dried even with the heated dry. Not fond of the compartmentalized utensil holder. Takes a long time to remove each piece. Third level utensil does help.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was not the dishwasher I thought I was getting. It doesn’t work consistently, the design makes no sense. Top rack gets caught on the arm. It already, only 6 months in is leaking. Do not buy.

Poor quality and dirty dishes
on March 5, 2025
Posted by: Bo B
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where do I start. The positives first. The look of the machine is nice, the spacing of the drawers are good.
For the bad. You have to make sure your dishes are completely clean before putting them in as this dishwasher will not clean anything slightly dirty, even with manufacturer recommended pods. The build quality is very very poor, my top drawer already broke after 40 days. The wash fans are very flimsy and fall off if you touch them.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your dishwasher. We're very sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered, including the cleaning performance, build quality, and the broken top rack This is certainly not the quality we strive for.
Regarding the cleaning performance, while it's generally recommended to scrape off large food particles before loading, the dishwasher should still be able to handle slightly soiled dishes.
We actually have a handy Owner Center that can help troubleshoot your issue, taking you through a step-by-step solution. Visit https://producthelp.kitchenaid.com/Dishwashers and select your Dishwasher style to get started.
