Very quiet, clean and dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only disappointment is the way small plates and bowls fit in the middle row of the middle rack. Rounded edge of the plate/bowl makes it roll to one side or the other.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher doesn’t have an off button.
Sometimes when you close the door, the dishwasher starts up even though the washer wasn’t turned on

Hopefully better quality this time around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hope that this KitchenAid is better than the last KitchenAid dishwasher we just replaced. The motor died a couple days over the one year warranty and I had to argue with your company to replace that motor under the warranty. Then different things continued to break over and over. You would not replace and it finally completely died on us. Reluctantly I purchased this one - only to match with my other appliances. Fingers crossed that this one will be more dependable.

Wet dishes

Installed this yesterday. My old dishwasher was leaking but at least all the dishes were clean and DRY. After the first cycle with new KitchenAide dishwasher I had to dry every dish BY HAND. Each dish was sopping wet. So unhappy & disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the third rack and the beautiful stainless steel interior. It's so quiet, you can hardly hear it running!

Not Impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not thrilled with this dishwasher. It cleans well if the dishes are moderately soiled. I am very disappointed with the top rack. There is not enough room for very many cups small plates or bowls. When glasses are put into it they fall down when the rack is pushed back. The bottom rack keeps flying backwards and crashing into the back if the dishwasher because the door is tilted and won’t lay flat. The handle feels very insecure like it will fall off. The shortest cycle is very very long. It is extremely quiet though. I’ve had KitchenAid dishwashers for years. They have all been better than this one. Sometimes improvements make a good product worse.

The worst dishwasher ever
on January 27, 2025

We bought this dishwasher because we have other Kitchenaid appliances we like so we figured it would be a well designed dishwasher that works great. We were WRONG. This is the most aggravating, irritating, poorly designed dishwasher I've ever had the displeasure to use. The racks appear to be intentionally designed so that nothing quite fits right, even the silverware basket is incredibly stupidly designed with rows of holes that alternate in size! That way, half of your silverware DOESN'T FIT in one row, and the other half DOESN'T FIT in the other row. Why not make the holes all the SAME size so your stupid f'ing silverware always fits where you put it? The top/third/glasses rack is useless as it doesn't have enough spraying power to actually clean the insides of glasses, so it ends up taking up 10% of the interior space of the dishwasher while being 100% useless. The "drying" feature doesn't dry anything, even on the maximum setting dishes and bowls still come out wet. If you always set it to the longest, loudest cycle it does clean most of the dishes, but no matter what it never cleans them all, you'll still be hand washing bowls and cups after this hunk of junk finishes. Even the fact that this waste-of-money keeps working is irritating, if it would just break down we would instantly haul it to the dump where it belongs and go get any other dishwasher at all. This unit is JUNK, do not buy!
