Good quiet dishwasher with some design shortcoming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like the cleaning and quiet of this dishwasher it has a couple of issues:
1 - there is no lock for the controls which are very sensitive.
2 - the layout for the racks are not as accommodating - no adjustments to fit different dishes.
When my old Whirlpool started leaking I purchased a new one but, alas, it was putting lots of water on the floor and had to be returned. Since there was not another Whirlpool available I purchased the KitchenAid which is rated as a better machine. It does do a good job of cleaning and is very quiet, just haven't found the right combination of loading it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this immaculate dishwasher to replace the piece of garbage Frigidaire dishwasher that I bought new about 9 months ago. Kitchenaid blew my mind with this dishwasher. It’s sleek, clean, modern and best of all it is AMAZING! I wish I had known that before I bought the Frigidaire appliances. It would have saved me all of the unnecessary headaches from buying crappy appliances. This has been my best dishwasher yet and I can’t imagine a world where I don’t buy Kitchenaid appliances from here on out. Best purchase yet!

I love my new dishwasher!

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my kitchenaid dishwasher in December. My previous dishwasher was a kitchenaid and it went 16 years. It would have lasted longer just needed a few parts but of course during this time parts were impossible to get. I must say the new one cleans better than the old 1 but then it was 16 years old. Quiet and lots of nice features. Love the no smudge stainless steel. You just clean it with water no stainless steel cleaner so easy.
